I always seem to forget about these and then I come back to them once in a while. Being as I have nothing else to do at the moment and no one to talk to, I will update a little about my life right now (even though no one cares).
The past month-ish has been awesome and filled with nothing but no work, movies, cooking, reading, the gym, and House Hunters. I found that I was losing money. fast. So…I applied to different restaurants and got a job at Pizza Fusion. It’s located on Broad St. in Red Bank and it. is. awesome. 75% Organic menu, with the other 25% being all natural ingredients. We have the ‘greenest’ building in town, made of all recycled materials (including reclaimed wood, natural earth tile/bricks, coke bottle counter tops, etc.etc.etc). We even deliver with a decked out Prius. Basically, it’s right up my alley. Even if I don’t make a lot of money in tips here, I feel like I want to stay because the overall vibe of the place is just too good. We open on Monday, March 29th, but my family and friends can eat this Sunday. If anyone actually took the time to read this, PLEASE COME. I’m so nervous to waitress, and I’d rather mess up on you guys (no offense).
So I guess I’m back to work, but it’s definitely an upgrade from the good ol’ Rite Aid Pharmacy.
School wise, we are now moving into the 4th and last quarter of my high school experience. This year went unbelievably fast. Can’t I graduate and have time slow down at the same time? gjdough. I’m already 18 + a few months and I would like to stay that way for a while.
Rest in peace, Mr. Rozanski.
I do not understand how people can have so much talent. Craaazy.
So I’m glad I use my newly discovered free time using stumbleupon, thanks to Chris. Probably the. best. website. Also spent 4 hours at the Inkwell tonight playing board games? I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE FUN.
I got deez skates today and practiced roller skating with Melissa. Trying to work up to the derby, you know. Anyway, it was fun. Then we hit up Houlihan’s nachos for dinner with Grace.
Spendin’ all my money, money.
I sort of forgot about this, so quick update:
Officially done with Rite Aid, as mostly everyone knows now. This means I will spend my free time going broke, sleeping, reading, watching movies, going to the gym, and food shopping. I really need to start my drawing thing too. Maybe I’ll even get back into taking pictures, who knows? My (possible) next job does not start training until the end of March, so it sounds like a pretty nice break to me. So, RIP Rite Aid. :)
I got a formspring. I also told myself I wouldn’t, but it’s actually fun and really does cure boredom. I should probably spend my time doing more useful things.
Which brings me to my next ridiculous topic: Chat Roulette. Why is it the weirdest, yet most entertaining concept ever? I would never go on it by myself (because I find that creepy), but it really is so funny to go on it with friends.
^ These are reasons that support the fact that Middletown is a boring place with nothing to do. I need to meet some more people and have some more fun.
Vid of the day. ahaha
I shoveled forever today with my dad and Chrisseldo and worked at 5:15, but my day was still very goooood. I gave in my two weeks at Rite Aid. My last day is the 19th and I can’t wait. I’m excited to be job-less for a short while, but I know I am going to regret it once I don’t have the steady income. Anyone know any restaurants that are hiring?
Ah wellllllll, goodnight. Kickboxing @ 8:30 in the morn.
I wish she was my personal cook
you and me both.
Great day for many reasons:
1. I got to sleep in and go to school at 10:30 instead of 8:00.
2. I watched Dirty Dancing after school.
3. I got a call from Kelsey and went kickboxing at the gym with her.
4. I went to Kaya’s Kitchen [which is closed for my birthday :( ] with Kelsey.
5. We pulled into a sketchy parking lot to eat our espresso pie (that way we could have it all to ourselves).
5. Met Catie, Matt, and Lizzie for coffee at The Inkwell afterward.
6. Came home at 12ish and talked to my mom for 2 hours about everything in the world.
You know, coffee never seems to wake me up, but I am crazily wired right now. I need to try to get some sleep if I want to get up for a 10:30 Centergy class. :l
Reading time, once again.
has the best scones. I’m glad I’m eating everything in sight today.
I turn 18 on Monday. My parents refuse to pay for something that may kill me (aka skydiving), so I asked for a basket insert for my Ikea bookcase and a couple pairs of Vera Wang leggings, because they are my favorite. I’ll just save up some money and go in the Spring. I should also probably make reservations for Kaya’s Kitchen, where I have surprisingly never been. Excited!
Home Fries is an insane movie, but I have a crazy crush on Luke Wilson and an even crazier crush on Drew Barrymore.
Off to read. I wish I could get to bed before 12 for once in my life.
AHH LEGAL :D ! & I have a feeling we have the same Ikea bookcase. I have little inserts for them…. (everything in my room is from Ikea) :D
Perhaps it is black with a whole bunch of square cubbies?
